Green Cottage - Ocean Front

Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy a peaceful getaway on Isle Madame, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Our newly built one-bedroom cottages offer a comfortable and relaxing place to stay for a couple of nights, a week, or even a month.

Set on a beautiful oceanfront property, the cottages offer stunning views and easy access to the calm waters surrounding Isle Madame. Spend your days kayaking, paddleboarding, exploring the shoreline, biking, hiking, or simply relaxing on your private deck while taking in the view.

Your Cottage

Built in 2023, our cozy 384-square-foot one-bedroom cottages are thoughtfully designed with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Each cottage includes:

• Queen-size bed
• Full bathroom with a large walk-in shower
• Full kitchen with stove, microwave and refrigerator
• Dining area
• Sofa bed for additional guests
• Washer and dryer
• Mini-split heat pump for heating and air conditioning
• High-speed Wi-Fi
• Smart TV with access to your favorite streaming apps
• Private deck with outdoor seating
• BBQ
• Smokeless fire pit with supplies provided
• Free parking beside the cottage for two vehicle

Enjoy the Outdoors

Kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are provided at no additional cost during the warmer months. Water equipment is unavailable once the weather becomes too cold for safe use.

Each cottage has its own private deck and outdoor seating. Some outdoor areas of the property are shared.

A Few Things to Know

We provide a starter supply of essentials, including toilet paper, paper towels, K-Cups and tea, a spice rack and basic condiments. Guests are responsible for purchasing additional supplies they may need during their stay.

Maximum occupancy: 4 guests. The cottage comfortably accommodates 2 guests in the queen bedroom, with the sofa bed available for up to 2 additional guests.

Families are welcome! Please note that our one-bedroom cottages have limited space and are not equipped with a crib or high chair. Guests traveling with young children are welcome to bring any items they may need for their stay.

No pets are permitted.

We live nearby and are available by phone, text or email if you need anything during your stay.

We have three one-bedroom oceanfront cottages on the property, along with our new two-bedroom cottage nearby. This makes it easy for families and groups to stay close together while still enjoying their own private cottage and space.
